Due to failure to sit for language exam and to carry out her personal programme, she was expelled by the Scientific Council of the Institute of History on 27 September 2005.

Scientific Supervisor: Academician Mito Issussov, and Senior Scientific Fellow, Assoc. Professor Stoyan Pintev, PhD after the academician’s death. The doctoral dissertation was defended on 2 December, 2004.
